Modernising the Workshop

Working in a laboratory environment filled with machinery ranging from 26 to more than 64 years old meant constantly balancing modernization with reliability. Rather than replacing proven systems outright, my focus was on upgrading and optimizing the existing machine park.

The main goals were improving efficiency and introducing modern production methods that could simplify prototyping and replacement part manufacturing.

This created the foundation for a broader modernization effort that combined traditional industrial repair techniques with newer digital fabrication technologies.
