From Restoration to Production

Once the packaging machine was fully operational, the next challenge began: translating production requirements into manufacturable packaging designs. I became responsible for the technical design of the cardboard boxes used for CineStill products. Packaging design at this level is surprisingly technical. Dimensions, folds, tolerances, paper behavior, and machine timing all have to work together perfectly for reliable production. The project became a combination of restoration engineering, production planning, and practical manufacturing design.
